ARTIST BIO

I was born in a small town in the Rockies in Canada, came to Australia as a young man, and stayed. I took up art in retirement and although I don't have any formal training,  I do have a real passion for it and if there’s a secret to it, i guess that's it.

I find landscapes and portraits equally challenging and gratifying- for about the same reasons: there seems to be an infinite amount of both.

Have a look around. Hopefully you’ll see what caused me to paint them in the first place. Enjoy.

NOTE:  The sizes given are the size of the frames; the actual sizes of the paintings would be approximately  8 cm smaller with the larger paintings and 4 cm smaller with the smaller ones.
