ARTIST BIO

Joy finds her property at Wistow SA great inspiration for art with the gumtrees, open vistas, horses and foals playing, cats lazying about, dogs barking cheerfully and a wonderful sense of positive paths.  Joy is a naturopath/herbalist and uses her wealth of experience to enhance the lives of others.  

Joy works with many Special Needs People and helps them with Art Therapy to reconcile their emotions. 

Joy was fascinated with how her Grandmother could bring to life the flowers in the vase, and transform them in their everlasting beauty onto the canvas.  Then her mother developed her artistic talents and again transforms a blank canvas into spectacular colour and form holding the memories of pets forever.  So Joy picked up the brushes too, and loves to paint, draw and scribble with pastels to carry on artistic flair.  Joy enjoys painting her pets, horses and landscapes using various techniques to bring colour and vibrance into the room.
