ARTIST BIO

I am a South Australian painter, born on the River Murray and raised in rural South Australia. .   Rosemary Warmington Art Website

Both my semi-abstract landscapes and my abstract paintings are drenched in colour, influenced by the natural world and the Australian light and landscape  See  Instagram: rosemarywarmingtonart/ and featured in the Art Edit Magazine (Spring 2019).

I work through an intuitive process using saturated colours,  mixed media, line work, surface scratchings and motifs to create expressive works imbued with memory of place.

I am a regular exhibitor and award finalist.

"I paint my landscapes using rich colour blends to portray and reflect the natural world to evoke a mood and sense of place.

I  use colour, line and texture in my abstract designs  to create a rich modern art piece.  "
