Art Show Procedure

Thank you for taking your time to consider our Show.

The Submission and Show Procedure will follow these stages:

  1. Initial Submission 
    Submit your 3 artworks online and make the Entry Submission Fee payment via Gallery 247. Quality colour images of the work in its entirety need to be included. If there is a significant difference between the initial submitted image and the actual work the work will not be exhibited and any fees will not be refunded. Assistance with entering artist's details and uploading images is available.

  2. Review and Pre-selection
    After the closing date all submissions will be reviewed and assessed by a Selection Panel.

  3. Acceptance Notification
    Artists whose works are selected for exhibition will be notified via email using the online system. The Acceptance Fee will be automatically debited from your credit card. Artists must notify the Organisers if the work is no longer available for the Show. Withdrawn works may be substituted at the discretion of the Organisers.

  4. Delivery
    Artists or their agents must deliver the works to the Art Show venue on the delivery date as per key dates or before for freighted works.

  5. Any damage or loss of any exhibit howsoever and whenever whilst in transit, in storage, on exhibition or otherwise shall be the sole responsibility of the exhibitor. The Organiser will take every care of exhibits but does not accept any responsibility for any damage or loss and advises exhibitors to insure their own work against damage or loss.
    If the exhibitor authorises an agent to deliver or collect unsold exhibits this authority must be in writing addressed to the Victor Harbor Art Show, signed by the exhibitor and contain the specimen signature of the agent.

  6. Sales Notifications
    During the Show you will be notified via the online system if your artwork sells. A sold sticker will be placed on the item in the Art Show.

  7. Collection
    The exhibitor must collect any unsold exhibits after the close of the exhibition as detailed in the Key Dates Uncollected works will be held for collection for 3 days for a fee of $50.

  8. Payments
    Payments for sold works will be made to the artist, via electronic transfer, for the sale proceeds minus the commission (inclusive of GST) as detailed in the Key Dates section.
